The Breeze—Women’s Loose Shorts
Loose running shorts often feel light but have limited storage, or leave you adjusting the liner mid-run. The Women’s Loose Shorts were designed to prevent that. A wide, soft waistband stays in place and holds fuel in internal pockets, while a breathable inner liner provides coverage without feeling restrictive. The 3” inseam and side-slit design allow airflow and easy movement, creating a short that feels minimal once you start running.
HOW THEY’LL FIT:
The Breeze Shorts have a 3” inseam. They are on the shorter side, built for airflow and a barely-there feel. Because of that, how they feel depends a lot on your height.
Under 5’5”: You’ll get solid coverage through the hips and butt. The side slit adds breathability without feeling exposed, and most women in this range find the fit generous for both running and everyday wear.
5’5” and taller: These will feel short (this is by design). The same 3” inseam shows more leg as height increases. If you love a minimal, skin-baring feel, you’ll love these. If you prefer more coverage, they may not be the right short for you.
BOUND’s opinion: coverage is personal. The slit isn’t high, but if you’re on the taller side, expect them to feel like a short short. It comes down to what you prefer when you run.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What types of runs are these shorts best suited for? These shorts are designed for easy runs, long runs, and warmer conditions when airflow and a lightweight feel matter, without giving up storage or coverage.
- How does the fit feel while running? The fit is relaxed through the leg for airflow, with a wide waistband that stays in place and an inner liner that provides coverage without feeling restrictive.
- How much storage do they have, and where is it located? They include three internal gel pockets built into the waistband and a zippered pocket at the back for small essentials.
- How much coverage do they provide? The 3” inseam and side-slit design allow movement and airflow while still offering ample coverage through the hips and butt.
- How does the inner liner feel compared to compression shorts? The inner liner is a breathable knit designed for comfort and coverage, not compression, making it feel lighter and less restrictive than fitted shorts.
- How should I choose a size? If you fall between sizes or have a more muscular build through the hips or glutes, sizing up can provide a more comfortable fit through the inner liner.
