Show Up to Blow Up STL

Somewhere along the way, running got complicated. Splits, paces, zones, targets. We started chasing numbers and forgot the reason we did this sport in the first place. This is a chance to get it back. The feeling of racing your friends down the street when you were a kid without a worry in the world. Pushing yourself to your absolute limit and knowing that was good enough, because it always has been.

Show Up to Blow Up is a zero-pressure, no-frills race put on by BOUND. There are no watches allowed. Are you a data person? We got you. We will have tape to cover your watch. Yes, this is required. Why do we do this? Because we believe in the beauty of the run and the race itself. This is to celebrate the effort, given fully, for its own sake. Go out there and run your hardest and let the watch tell whatever story it wants afterward. If that speaks to you, this race is for you.

Here is how it works.

Registration is $15, which covers our costs. You get an exclusive Show Up to Blow Up shirt or piece of BOUND swag that we only release at these events. We will email you the exact location about four hours before the start. For planning purposes, it will be in St. Louis County near Valley Park off 141. Parking and getting yourself to the start line are on you. We will start the race at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening. 

We promise you will feel something you haven’t felt in a while out there. We hope to see you at the line.
